What characteristics do I like in a role?

A little while ago I posted about how I saw patterns through my career in a search for challenge and enjoyment and how generally as a core piece of a role became easier and more routine I sought ways to continue to get that challenge through innovation, exploration, transformation, blogging / speaking etc.

I've thought a bit more about what some of those elements of a role are that are levers to find that challenge and, as you may expect from my other posts and blogs, drew a picture of what I think it looks like for me 😁

It's evolved a bit since I started as I've undergone some self reflection, and likely still will change as I think more, but I thought I'd share it anyway and either see whether any of you have thought about your roles in this way, if any of these elements resonate with you and what you've done in your career to find / keep that challenge?
